How do we lose our soul?

Odd question, but easily answered.

Through sinning of course.

What is sin?

Sin is everything that makes you disobedient to what God wants.

Now what does God want from us?

He wants us to be holy, to be righteous in everything, to love Him and others in a holy way.

That doesn't sound so difficult and it would not be if the devil was already in hell.

But since he's not, he lies to us and wants to keep us sinning.

So sometimes we stick to what is wrong thinking it's right and in doing so we lose our soul.

He tried to do the same thing to Christ in the desert and twisted the Words of God the Father to keep Christ from being holy and blameless so He would fail His rescue mission for mankind.

Now what about us? Are we sinning in whatever way, subtle or obvious?

United with Christ

If we lose our soul and are not ready for the call of the angel of God to be united with Christ in the sky as the bible says, we will be left behind in the most distressing time the earth has ever encountered as the antichrist and God's wrath will flood the earth and it's people.

No one and nothing can save our soul than Christ, but only we ourselves can keep it saved by not sinning anymore but becoming holy as God is holy through the power of the Holy Spirit.

"According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Therefore encourage each other with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

Don't lose your soul by trying to win the world, nothing and no one can save us from being left behind when Christ comes to take home His holy church.

The earth is shaking for He is standing in mid-air already waiting for the trumpet to sound and the angel to shout.

What a sweet moment it will be!

Blessings and love in Christ,

Monique
